United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona is working to make a difference in the lives of children, youth, families and seniors, and we believe that volunteerism is a key component.

The ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthrophy & Nonprofit Innovation report, “Scope of the Nonprofit Sector, Southern Arizona Edition”, noted that over 28% of Pima County residents volunteered at local nonprofit organizations, higher than the national average and the highest volunteer rate in the State of Arizona. Volunteers provide an estimated $611 million worth of donated services, remarkably close to the charitable giving in the region.

Whether you are young or old; volunteering by yourself or with a group; or looking to volunteer for an hour, a day, a week or all year long, you can make a difference in our community!
