The Early Childhood Partnership will develop, support and improve early childhood care and education resources in Southern Pima County through community education, advocacy, networking, and securing funding over the next decade.
Goal Statement
All children in the community arrive at school healthy, eager to learn, and ready to succeed.
Vision Statement
The Early Childhood Partnership envisions a community where all young children do well and families thrive.
Goals of the Partnership:
To educate and inform communities located in Southern Pima County about the importance of a high quality early learning environment for all young children by:
- Engaging parents and all early child care providers, including friends, family, and neighbor caregivers
- Providing educational events for the families and early childcare providers in the community
- Supporting the certification, licensure, and accreditation of home-based family child care providers
- Connecting the community to information and resources about high quality early child care programs and why this issue is important to local governments, schools, parents, and all taxpayers.
- Promoting early literacy
- Obtaining and maintain funding through grants and donations
Ways you can get involved:
1) Donate to United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona's First Focus on Kids to support the work we do to improve community conditions for young children and their families.
