Mission Statement
ECPSPC will develop, support and improve early childhood care and education resources in Southern Pima County through community education, advocacy, networking, and securing funding over the next decade.

Goal Statement
All children in the community arrive at school healthy, eager to learn, and ready to succeed.

Vision Statement
The ECPSPC envisions a community where young children do well and families thrive.

Goals of the Partnership for 2007/2008

Increase outreach efforts to the community to raise public awareness

  • Engage more in-home providers, and identify and meet the needs
  • Provide educational events for the community
  • Address the “group home” licensing issues
  • Work to obtain and maintain funding

There is a tremendous need for high quality early childhood services for all children and families within our community.  The ECPSPC hopes to improve the quality and availability of such services.  Outstanding childhood programs are essential to our children’s future.  The future of our community depends on educated, informed, and engaged citizens, through skills first learned through early childhood experiences.  We work to promote early learning at-home, at child care, at school, and in the community.

The most valuable resource of our future is today’s children who are tomorrow’s leaders.
