Millennium Fund
The Millennium (Endowment) Fund ensures
that United Way will build a strong community
for Southern Arizona residents from generation
to ge neration.
As a catalyst for changing community conditions,
United Way provides a foundation for an
economically strong, safe and healthy community.
Contributions to this endowment fund are
permanently restricted while the earnings from
the fund provide for infrastructure and operational
stability for United Way, making sure that
community impact work continues.
Vision Fund
United Way’s mission is to Build a Better Community, and with our community’s support we can accomplish our mission. We can build a community where children are Ready to Learn and Safe After School, where families are Strong and Free of Violence, and where Seniors are Independent and Active.
A vital way to ensure lasting results in our community is to increase United Way’s capacity to raise more resources dedicated to this critical work. One way  to do this is to increase our campaign team and provide our team with tools necessary to more effectively ask more people to support our work. This is important because the number one reason that people do not give to charity is simply they were not asked.
Gifts to the Vision Fund enable the United Way to personally ask more people to support our work for Children, Families and Seniors, guaranteeing lasting solutions for our community.
