Grant Boosts Physical Education - The United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona obtained a three-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools this summer to promote physical fitness in schools. As part of the grant, students in grades three through six are expected to perform 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each week by playing modified sports, such as basketball and football, and dancing. ...[more] click here to read the full story from The Arizona Daily Star
