Programs
United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona's mission is to Build a Better Community, but we cannot achieve our mission alone.
It is with YOUR help that we can make lasting solutions in the lives of Tucson's Children, Families and Seniors.
We are proud to partner with the following outstanding partners:
- UWIC (United Way Inclusion Council) an intensive management, organizational and leadership training program for administrators in nonprofit, government and private sector, who graduate and give back to our community.
- Young Leaders Society, a group of Tucson's best and brightest, who focus on ways to Connect, Serve and Lead in our community.
- Agency Partners - we partner with 41 nonprofit agencies to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
- Days of Caring
- ADFED (Tucson Advertising Federation)- Through a powerful partnership with the Tucson Advertising Federation tucsonadfed.org, United Way ensures that its message is communicated through a highly leveraged, donated advertising campaign.
- Constant Contact "Thanks to Constant Contact and its Cares4Kids program, local United Ways across the country now have powerful tools that they can use to engage people year-round" said Cynthia Round, EVP of Brand Leadership, United Way of America.
- County ECAP
- City ECAP City of Tucson employees are raising funds now for more than 260 local nonprofit agencies.
Each partner addresses one or more of United Way’s critical social area, which are:
- More children enter school ready to learn and succeed
- More youth in safe, nurturing places after school
- More families strong with their basic needs met
- More families free from violence, abuse and sexual assault
- More seniors active and independent
