United Way Releases a New Request for Proposals

United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona has released a new Request for Proposals for a $30,000 project that addresses the baby boomers and active retirees in the Pima County community: Transforming Retirement - Extended Life Options. 

The proposal must be submitted on-line through the United Way website and is due Friday, July 6, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.  Awards will be announced on or about September 4, 2007.

Eligible applicants include grass roots associations; individuals; public or private institutions of higher education; for profit companies or small businesses; not-for-profit agencies; faith-based, community and tribal organizations.

A Pre-Proposal workshop that describes the on-line RFP process will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15th in the 2nd floor Board Room at United Way, 330 North Commerce Park Loop Tucson, AZ for the purpose of clarifying requirements and answering respondent questions.  Attendance at the conference is optional but encouraged.  Please contact Chris McNamara cmcnamara@unitedwaytucson.org to RSVP.
