Neal Eckel Bio

Neal Eckel is an attorney with Durazzo, Eckel & Hawkins, P.C. and has practiced law in Tucson since 1988. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Arizona in 1984 and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1987. Neal practices primarily in the areas of business and construction law. He is the attorney for the Alliance of Construction Trades, an organization of subcontractors in Pima County, Arizona, and represents numerous trades within that organization.  He was also a member of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona and served as Chair of the Construction Law Section for Tucson in 2000.  Neal was recently recognized as one of Tucson’s Top Lawyers in Construction Law.

Neal started volunteering with United Way in 1988 and has been a Board member of United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona since 1994; he served as Chair of the Board from 1996-1998. He has served on other non-profit boards in Tucson including a local theater group, youth sports organizations and homeowners associations.
