"I've been living here in Tucson the past 60 years. I have a wife with two daughters and a son. I was a union carpenter for 34 years. When I fell from a bridge wall at Prince and I-10 at the picture walls on the side of the freeway, that was the end of my career as a carpenter.
In that time, I enjoyed helping to create so many buildings around Tucson. And while I never went to the university, each of my kids now have. I am very fortunate they are doing well.
And here today, I am grateful to the community for the returned support. I've met a lot of really nice people, and I am thankful to always have a place to return to for assistance."
