Women Leading United
Celebrating the power of women uniting together to ACT, CONNECT and INSPIRE! Women Leading United (WLU) is a new leadership society that is committed to enhancing local women’s effective engagement in philanthropy and celebrating their ability to be a catalyst for advancing the common good.
ACT: Speak out to improve Education, Income and Health. Advocate in a LIVE UNITED world. Do it in public. Be visible. Be heard. Women Leading United will energize and inspire women to make a difference by helping them realize their philanthropic potential. Members will be engaged in activities that support women’s involvement in the public policy work of United Way.
CONNECT: Reaching out to Advance the Common Good. Throughout the year, members will have the opportunity to attend WLU special events, where they can network with like-minded women in diverse industries who are business and civic leaders.
INSPIRE: Give the gift of you. Volunteer. Members will set an example of community leadership by supporting efforts to create a good life for all through special volunteerism projects including mentoring opportunities and after school programs.
RECOGNITION LEVELS
WINGS: Women in the Next Generation for Service; $500 giving level with eligibilty for Connect events and mentorship programs.
WOMEN LEADING UNITED: $1,000+ giving level with eligibility to participate in all WLU events.
WOMEN OF TOCQUEVILLE SOCIETY: Tocqueville members ($10,000 annual giving) with participation in all WLU and Tocqueville Society events.
