Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona (GISA) would like to engage local artists, employers, and vendors to provide project-based, positive youth development activities for youth ages 14-24 who have been involved in the juvenile justice system. Positive youth development is the name given to a philosophical approach for working with youth that facilitates youth engagement and puts youth at the center of decision-making, project implementation, and projected outcomes
Goodwill METRO members have requested additional programming to enhance their lives. Goodwill is seeking vendors who will provide a clear unit plan, strong learning objectives, and reasonable use of funds for project completion. Topics of programming should include at least one of these goal areas:
Artistic Expression, Teamwork, Communication Skills, Self-Esteem, Cultural Identity, Service-Learning/Community Engagement, Workforce Readiness, Climate Awareness/Resiliency, Socio-Emotional Skills, Education/Academic Skills/Post-Secondary Access, Other - Please Explain.
