We support agencies and programs that focus on building a stronger community for us all, particularly in our focus areas of education, financial stability, and healthy communities, while addressing basic needs. United Way remains a leader in tackling big, complex issues in Tucson and Southern Arizona, bringing together hundreds of community partners to help solve them. We provide resources and funding to nonprofits whose strategies align with ours and invite 501(c)3 organizations that are outstanding in our funding areas to consider joining one of our work groups listed below.


In an effort to reduce costs and protect our environment, United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona requests that recipient agencies provide banking information to enable automatic deposit payment distributions.  For your convenience you may download a fillable ACH Direct Deposit form and email it to



United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona has partnered with Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, and the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family to offer nonprofit organizations access to the Service Enterprise Initiative (SEI). The SEI is a national program that provides training and certification to selected nonprofits committed to implementing exemplary volunteer management practices to achieve their missions.
